L'Atelier du Pouf was born from a personal frustration that became an obsession: why is it so difficult to find a refuge that feels as good on your back as it looks to your eyes?
Those dream armchairs, magazine-worthy, that you barely dare breathe in front of.
Formless beanbags, with a “potato sack” look, soulless, hidden away when guests arrive.
We did not want to make that compromise. We wanted to create a hybrid piece: an invitation to relax, with the elegance of an architectural piece. That is how our Signature collection was born: IVORIA, AURORE, SYLVA and LUNA, created in-house.
The Atelier then became a laboratory. We touched hundreds of velvets, tested different foams down to the finest details, often failed and always started again.
The goal? To capture that cloud-like feeling, that “ahhh” of relief when you settle in, while preserving a clean-lined design capable of standing the test of time.

The realization that no seating on the market made us want to curl up in it without compromise. We had to create our own.
Entire nights spent sketching. Erasing angles, softening lines, searching for the silhouette capable of soothing the eye.
The longest stage. Finding the perfect blend of EPS beads and foam. Too firm? We start over. Too soft? We adjust.
Selecting fabrics capable of telling a story beneath your fingers. A dense, warm and comforting corduroy.

He is the project’s builder and guiding force. Théo doesn’t simply “sell beanbags”; he seeks the perfect equation for well-being. Obsessed with the invisible details, he’s the one who hunts down that extra millimetre or the structure that doesn’t feel right. To him, comfort is as much a science as it is an art.
Brand voice & creative
Loeve brings the light and the words. She captures the essence of our creations and shares it with the world. She’s the one who builds the connection with you, gathers your feedback, and translates the atmosphere of the Atelier into images and stories. She is the guardian of our authenticity.
