L’Atelier du Pouf Return Policy

1) Scope

This policy applies to distance sales made with consumers (private individuals). B2B sales are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

2) Right of withdrawal — period

You have 14 days from the receipt of your pouf to notify us of your withdrawal (without reason). After notification, you have an additional 14 days to return the product to us.

  • We provide you with a withdrawal form (or you may send us a clear statement).

3) Condition of the product and packaging

You may handle the item as you would in a shop to check its nature, features, and proper functioning.
The pouf must be returned to us clean and complete. The original packaging is recommended to protect the product during transport; if not available, you must use packaging that offers equivalent protection.
If the item has suffered deterioration due to handling beyond what is necessary, we may apply a reduction of the refund (justified).

4) Return costs (borne by the customer)

Except in case of our error or a non-compliant/defective product, the direct costs of return are your responsibility, as stated here and in our pre-contractual information.
For a pouf (a bulky item), return by carrier is generally necessary; as a guideline, a return within mainland France may cost XX–YY € depending on the carrier and area.
If the professional fails to inform the customer that return costs are their responsibility, the professional must bear them themselves. (We expressly inform you here that these costs are your responsibility.)

5) Refund

Upon receipt of the return (or upon presentation of proof of shipment), we refund all amounts paid, including the standard outbound delivery (excluding any extra cost if you chose a more expensive delivery method). The refund is made no later than 14 days after your withdrawal notification; we may delay it until we have recovered the item or received proof of shipment. The refund is made via the original payment method. 

6) Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply notably to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, as well as to sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if unsealed. (Our standard poufs are not hygiene products.) 

7) Non-compliant or defective product (outside withdrawal)

Regardless of withdrawal, you benefit from legal guarantees (conformity and defects). In case of non-compliance/defect, return costs are our responsibility and repair, replacement, or refund is offered according to the law (legal guarantee texts — not reproduced here). 8) Return procedure

  1. Notification within 14 days: via the form or by email to contact@atelierdupouf.com

  2. Preparation: repackage the pouf (original packaging recommended or equivalent), include the proof of purchase.

  3. Sending within 14 days: to the following address — 220 Imp. Jacqueline Auriol, 59118 Wambrechies

  4. Proof of shipment: keep the receipt/tracking number.
